STOPGAP 1200 is a low odour, fast setting, fast drying, two component high performance smoothing compound suitable for preparing sound internal subfloors prior to the installation of new floorcoverings. STOPGAP 1200 is particularly suitable for use over old adhesive residues (including bitumen and carpet tile tackifiers) without the need for priming.
Ideal for applications over sand/cement screeds, concrete, granolithic, terrazzo, asphalt, steel, old vinyl asbestos tiles, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles. Due to its fast curing and drying properties, STOPGAP 1200 can be used in situations where time is tight offering a walk-on time of 60 minutes. It is also moisture tolerance and allows new floorcoverings to be installed from just 4 hours.
