F3 Carpet Adhesive is a water-based textile flooring adhesive that delivers excellent wet grab with an early build up of strength. Floor fitters can rely on this high-quality adhesive for its resistance against bio-degradation and its suitability for use over standard underfloor heating installations. This highly-rated textile flooring adhesive has a high initial grab, allowing floorcoverings to bond quickly and securely upon contact. It can also withstand wet cleaning to ensure it maintains its bond reliability and performance. STYCCOBOND F3 can be used for securing fibre bonded carpets, hessian, felt, secondary latex and rubber foam backed carpets and cork tiles up to 3.2mm thick.
It has an open time of up to 15 minutes, giving fitters ample time to install flooring accurately. STYCCOBOND F3 maintains its effectiveness with a shelf life of 12 months in unopened containers stored in good conditions. This makes it a reliable choice for both immediate and future projects. STYCCOBOND F3 meets the standards of the International Marine Organisation and has approval for use in marine floor installations.
With over 50 years on the market, it is now well recognised as the UK’s most used flooring adhesive. It boasts around 70% compatibility with the 6,000 floorcoverings listed in the F. Ball Recommended Adhesives Guide. Some of the most compatible floorcoverings include fibre bonded carpets, hessian, and felt.
