Vinyl recycling: One year on (20/1/11)

Recofloor began in September 2009. Now, over a year after the campaign launched, people across Great Britain are recycling more vinyl waste than ever before. A major achievement for the vinyl flooring industry, as they prove that they're becoming greener and fitting in with the modern society.

In their first year, this initiative has managed to recycle 155 tonnes of vinyl related waste products and it is predicted that 175 tonnes will be achieved during their second year. This represents a 15% increase every year on how much the scheme is aiming to recycle.
